Significance of Darshans of Lord Dwarkadheesh
Mangla Darshan
The Mangla Aarti & Darshan of Lord Dwarkadheesh at Dwarka’s Jagat Mandir signify an auspicious start of a new day. Every morning, the Lord is worshipped & offered a Bhog of his favourite milk delicacies.
Shringar Darshan
Shringar Darshan at the Dwarka Mandir are done after the Abhishek pooja in the morning. During this darshan, Lord Dwarkadheesh is adorned in his finest clothes, jewellery, flowers and tulsi garlands.
Rajbhog Darshan
Rajbhog is the most important meal of day in which a wide variety of delicacies are prepared as an offering to Lord Dwarkadheesh. During Rajbhog Darshan, devotees too get a chance to shower their adulation to the Lord.
Sandhya Darshan
Lord Dwarkadheeh’s Sandhya darshan constitutes of a light Bhog offered to the Lord along with the Sandhya Aarti. This evening Aarti is performed to ward off evil spirits & devotees are allowed to partake in it.
Shayan Darshan
Shayan Darshan of Lord Dwarkadheesh denotes the day’s last phase as the Lord is prepared for his night’s rest. The Shayan Aarti is conducted & a light ‘Bantabhog’ is offered. This marks the end of all his day’s darshans.
